Jingyang Brick Tea Packaging

Langcer Lee

Packaging Design Jingyang Brick Tea Packaging by Langcer Lee Jingyang Brick Tea has a history of more than 600 years. Inspired by the Shaanxi merchants of the Qing dynasty and the folk custom, the design promotes the inheritance of China’s intangible cultural heritage. Line drawing techniques and tea receipts that circulated during the late Qing Dynasty will be used to seal the bottom of the brick tea. Three traditional Chinese colors will be used on different packages. The final implementation of the packaging will use handmade rice paper as packaging materials and wood-block prints for inscription rubbing, which are all done by hand.
